Organize all your media in one place, automatically. Build workflows that pull footage off your record decks, convert and rename it, and back it up to shared storage — so nobody has to copy files by hand.

One Workflow, Start to Finish
Canopy manages Blackmagic HyperDecks and Cloud Stores on your local network. Build a workflow once, then let it run on a schedule or from a control surface.
Discover recording devices and storage on your network (or add them by hand), watch reachability, login, and drive status in real time, and browse and preview files right from the app.
Chain steps per device: start and stop recording, sync new files, convert, rename with tokens, format a drive, clean up the destination, and send an email — with optional manual confirmations.
Run any workflow on a daily schedule (optionally only on certain weekdays) or at a one-time date and time, without anyone triggering it by hand.
Trigger record, stop, and format from external control surfaces over OSC or MIDI — with custom mappings or a zero-configuration address scheme.
Get a system notification (and optionally an email) the moment a recording or device goes offline, loses its login, or loses its drive.
A simplified, large-text status view built for a second monitor during a live event — device health and active recordings at a glance, nothing else.
A searchable log of past workflow runs, including what was processed, any errors, and how long each run took.
An Admin mode with full access to devices, workflows, and settings, and a restricted Content Manager mode for operators who should only view and pull clips.
Canopy is in alpha, so expect rough edges — and your feedback shapes what gets fixed next. Questions, bugs, or ideas are always welcome.
